Merry Christmas!

Why is Christmas such a busy time???

On Christmas Eve, we go to "Nanny's" side of the family and see all the aunts and uncles and cousins!
Bless their hearts... they don't ever get anything for Christmas! ;o)

Then, the next morning, Santa comes...
And he brought some "pooping" reindeer... well, they pooped jelly beans. The kids thought that was hilarious! ;o)
Then, we get together at Robert's parents house...

Then we decide to take pictures of all the grandkids on that side of the family. I am not sure why we torture ourselves like that... the older girls were very good sports about all of it... the little ones were not very interested in the whole picture thing... we managed to get a couple for Mamaw and Papaw!
Then, for some reason, I think I need to round up everything they got for a picture... it took me a LONG time to gather all of this up... how sad is this???

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

It's Snowing....

Well, we woke up to snow yesterday morning. We also woke up to Robbie being sick (I guess so he could be like his sister). Here they are watching the snow, while I set up a doctor's appointment for Robbie...

Well, we got a diagnosis of the "croup" for Robbie. After being chastised for not letting my children play in the snow (thanks Brian), I finally broke down and let them play in it for a minute (or two). Claire was somewhat not impressed...

Robbie loved it...

Claire did enjoy it after a while... I had to carry her around for a while, though. We decided to make a snowman... she added the nose.

Then I had to drag both of them inside. This is how they finished off the afternoon...

Ho Ho Ho...

Well, we went for our Santa pictures the other day. Once again, Claire was not too happy with this idea. She was talking really big until we actually got there, then she wanted no part of it. We told Santa we would walk around for a bit (and think of some kind of bribe), and we would be back.

Well, during our walk (and talk), we saw where you could jump on this trampoline thing. Claire instantly wanted to do it, and I told her she could IF she had her picture made with Santa. She agreed to stand BY Santa... not on his lap. I took that offer, and this is what we ended up with...

Then, the lady taking the pictures (that you buy) informed me that they did not have a good one, and we needed to re-do it! Good thing I had a good "bribe"!

Here is the reward for standing "BY" Santa...

Robbie wanted to "Jump like Claire Bear", but it scared him half to death if he got too high. But, then he would say he wanted to "Jump like Claire Bear" again! ;o) Now, Claire... she was not the least bit scared. I figure that girl will have me completely gray within the next five years or so. And to think, she was scared to ride in the little rides at Walmart about three months earlier!

Here are a few more pictures we took while walking around the mall.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The week before Thanksgiving (I am a little late posting this), the kids had their Thanksgiving Program at school. Claire was an Indian, Robbie was a Pilgrim. They both did really good and both of them actually did a little singing...

Why you NEVER stick your head in the toilet!

Robbie and Claire were in the bathroom, and I heard Claire start crying... it was her "I'm hurt" cry. Then, I hear Robbie say "Go see Mama".

This is what I found...

Let me explain. We had a toilet seat in their bathroom that had two seats on it... one with a "big hole" and one with a "little hole" (for little hineys). Well, Robbie had somehow managed to get the one with the "little hole" off. And apparently, Claire thought it would be a great idea to stick her head in the little hole??? Well, you can see what happened from there with the pictures. She did not think it was near as funny as my mother and I did! ;o)
